Cracked tiles are they the Installers Fault?

Homeowners say stone tiles are cracking because the Flooring Contractor did not use an Anti-Fracture Membrane.

We looked at 3000 pages of discovery. We cored the concrete and test it.

We found that the concrete slabs had not been properly installed. Upon investigating all of the components of the floor materials, we found that the size of the cracks exceeded the limitations of crack suppression membranes which are used for shrinkage cracks.

California State University, Northridge – Earthquake Damage

In 1994 Kenneth D. Newson was contacted by the Architects for California State University at Northridge. The Earthquake had decimated their dormitories. Could he please write a specification to replace the carpet, the sheet vinyl, and remediate 500,000 square feet of lightweight concrete.

He did.
